If you prefer not to activate online, you can call RBC to activate your credit card. Use the number that matches your card type, and always check it against the sticker on your card or the official RBC website.

Your new card usually comes with a sticker showing the activation number. Calling that number is the safest option.

Follow the prompts

Answer the identity questions and complete activation.

Secure your card

Sign the back of the card if it has a signature strip and destroy any old card it replaces.
RBC will never ask you for your full PIN or Online Banking password over the phone. Don’t share card details on calls you didn’t start.
